Please continue to pray that he will get good naps and good nutrition that he can keep down. Thank you again for your prayers yesterday. I am so thankful that we didn't need surgery to replace the tube and that we are home again.

So far no puking today
Today has been going great. No episodes of stiffening or puking. Decent naps. The feedings are at 45 ml per hour with 5/6 formula and 1/6 pedialyte. So that is almost back up to the goal amount of formula. I confess that I get nervous just thinking about adding that final 1/6 of formula. But it amazes me how much better Timmy does when he is actually able to get nutrition and keep it down. He is just more smiley and interactive and sometimes it seems to even help his head and torso strength. It convicts me to eat better.

Okay, here's an "out of the box" (but really in the box) comment: this morning we went to a locally owned coffee shop. For the past six months or so I've been ordering something unusual from them - Hemp Milk latte. It's great! And it contains no milk products, but has 46% of daily requirement for calcium. Just a thought - and if you want to check out an article on it... http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07123/782900-34.stm
I know you've got a lot of formula to use up, but might not hurt to ask your pediatric nutritionist if this liquid would be a good milk alternative. :-)
Oh, so thrilled to hear that the tube was unclogged without having to poke him! And that Friday was a good day without throwing up or stiffening. I hope to hear that this weekend was also.
We all prayed for you Sat. at the TMOMs steering committee meeting.
Continuing in prayer, Donna S.
How's the family doing today? Getting rest and nutrition? You have a LOT of prayers covering you! Kisses to you, Mister Timmy!
