They put a larger tube into his stomach, and then used that to insert the smaller J-tube. In a couple of months, he should be able to have the larger tube removed and replaced with a "Mickey button", which will make it a lot easier to cover up.
Timmy will need a few days to recover and to make sure everything's healthy, and then hopefully we can go home by the end of the week!

Dear Lara and Marshall,
We're so glad that Timmy's surgery went well! We're praying that you'll all be together at home soon.
God Bless,
Julie Ross and family
Last night I stayed up until 1:30 a.m. to "wish upon a star". I watched the Perseid meteor shower and gave a prayer of praise and thanks to God for His awesome universe. As I prayed for Timmy's recovery from his surgery, an especially bright shooting star streaked across the sky. It was beautiful!
The rest of Timmy's star present came in the mail yesterday. We will wait until he is home from the hospital to bring it. Blessings, Ramona
Hang in there folks!! The hardest part of the trip is the last few miles!!
