A relatively quiet day in the PICU

We had a quiet night. Timmy was somewhat agitated this morning, but has been calm since then. They tried yesterday to put in a PICC line, but his veins did not cooperate so they are now putting in a temporary central line that should last for this hospital visit. They are also going to do some more blood tests to see if we can identify which part of his cells has the problem. Once we have a central line, we should be able to greatly reduce how much he needs to be poked.

Please keep praying for wisdom and rest.

Glad the day was a bit quieter. I hope I was able to help in some way. P.S. The test Derek is going to have done is the whole mito dna analysis by Transgenomics. They can do it on blood, although Dr. H is sending his muscle. Love the picture. We pray the weekend brings some relief.

Lara,

I pray for you that you will have rest in the Lord. I heard a song yesterday that made me think of you, although I think of you all the time. It is called The Calmer of The Storm by Casting Crowns. I pray that you will feel calm in the Lord as you go through these trying times.
Sending Hugs!
Love and God Bless,
Misty

Lara, I do pray that this central line can be gotten in and alleviate all these sticks. I'm sure it is so hard for you to be there when they try to start IVs.

"He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along."-Psl.40

I love this verse and pray the Lord will continue to steady you & Marshall as you walk through this.
